Pooling 

Multiplexed single-stage molecular testing using combinatorial pooling

 

We have developed a clinical grade single-stage pooling method for molecular diagnostic testing via PCR. Our method allows us to identify all positive individuals using a single round of testing, over multiplex panels of viral pathogens. Our current panels include a set of 17 common human viral infections including respiratory viruses and herpes viruses.
